Below are the Reno R.E.O.-Bank Owned Homes- Reno Foreclosed Homes in the Reno /Sparks area. The Reno Bank Owned Home listings have been decreasing in most areas or remaining stable in others over the past few weeks.–>  The total Reno Bank Owned Homes-Renoforeclosure homes for this week is 287, just over half of what there were a couple of weeks ago, buyer’s in certain ranges/areas are feeling like they missed the boat.

 

This may be the result of the apex of the moratorium (waiting on Obama’s plan) which didn’t help Reno on foreclosures for Reno homes that were in foreclosure and may or may not be the “calm before the storm”.  This may also be the start of a base or footing if you will if we can sustain the decrease (in bank owned inventory).  With summer coming on and the many multiple offers on the first day the listing hits in the sub 250K market for Reno Bank Owned Homes, I am hoping the shadow/moratorium foreclosures get absorbed.  This is something I am tracking as an investor and as a Realtor representing investors all the way down to 1st time home-buyers.  If you peel off the homes over 300K that are bank owned and go further and break down areas, there are some very positive signs right now.  By the way, I am making an offer a week now on homes for myself and pushing to buy one a month for myself.
